- Tests conducted by independent Structural Engineer to verify product strength.
GRP Cantilever Canopy Video Example
Material used is GRP and is compressed glass fibers weaved through a carbon base (plastic) to create exceptional strength to weight ratio.
GRP Exclusive Profiled Sheeting
A2z Canopies use exclusive custom designed ‘stepped’ profile sheeting expected to have an external environment estimated life span in-excess of 25 years. Our sheeting is manufactured from polyester based resins (containing UV inhibitors, fire retardant and process additives) and chopped strand glass fibre reinforcement, with 33% glass content.
UV protecting
Our sheets also incorporate our Super-life UV protective surface to resist the discoloration and degradation caused by UV exposure preventing significant discolouration for at least 20 years.
Fire Ratings
Our sheeting meets the required standards with fire ratings SAB to BS476 part 3 and Class 3.
Aluminum Fascia Strip
Non corrosive Aluminum Fascia installed on all Carports ensuring guttering is secure if fitted.
High Strength corrosion resistant Bolts
Our bolts have a been stress tested to 2.2 Newton Tons ensuring they are able to support the beams to the wall.
